About Us
Hi, I'm Sophie
Growing up, my dad had a habit that most people would consider old-fashioned — he wrote and sent postcards and thank you cards to everyone he loved. It was drilled into me from a very young age, and honestly? I didn't fully understand why it mattered back then.
But as I've gotten older, I've come to understand it deeply. Writing to someone — actually sitting down, choosing a card, putting pen to paper — is one of the most human things we can do. It creates a real connection in a world that desperately needs more of it. My dad still sends postcards today, and every single one feels like a little piece of him arriving in the mail.
That's the feeling I set out to bottle when I started Happippl.
"Life isn't always sunshine and rainbows — but if one of my products can put a smile on your face, my job is done."
What's in a name?
Happippl is short for Happi People — because that's exactly who I'm designing for, and exactly what I hope to create more of. Not a perfect life, not a picture-perfect moment. Just a genuine smile when someone opens their mailbox, unwraps a gift, or finds something that feels like it was made just for them.
What makes Happippl different
Every product in the Happippl collection is thoughtfully curated and designed with intention. I pour care into every detail — including the little touch on the inside of each card that makes opening it feel like a small surprise.
I believe the whole experience matters, right down to how something feels in your hands before you even open it. Everything is printed and produced right here in the United States, and Happippl is proudly Asian and woman-owned.
I'm a one-woman show, which means every order gets my full attention. When you support Happippl, you're not clicking "add to cart" at a big box store. You're supporting a dream that started at a kitchen table, inspired by a dad who still believes a handwritten card can change someone's day.
Thank you for being here. It genuinely means everything.
With love,
Sophie
